Art Loughry is a retired Marine with sixty years experience in national security affairs and military operations. He has written as a journalist, reviewer, editor of Headquarters, Marine Corps daily news, author of numerous profession studies for the White House and Department of Defense and was the scene writer for one version of Making of a Marine. He is a distinguished graduate of the National War College and the Marine Corps Command and Staff School and has a Masters Degree in Computer Sciences from the American University. He is a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He has commenced his first novel, Buckskin Scots about a family’s involvement during the American Revolution. It is the first book in a planned series covering the years 1763-1850, which he calls the Creation of America.
